Job Summary

Responsibilities
Candidate must be able to independently Operate a CNC machine and work within strict safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjusts machine controls or control media as required.
Verifies conformance of finished workpiece to specifications.
Set up and operate the machine on a trial run to verify the accuracy of machine settings.

Job Summary:

They are responsible for ensuring that product is continuously flowing while visually inspecting to ensure quality standards and customer specifications are met. Requirements
Able to pass pre-employment drug test based on federal law (includes marijuana).
Able to work any shift (2x2x3 schedule), 12 hours per shifts, alternating day/nights every 6 weeks.
Have basic Microsoft computer skills and possess basic/fundamental math skills.
Able to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
Attention to detail in favor of identifying defects and suggest corrections.
Physically able to lift, carry and move up to 50 lbs.
Forklift experience is a plus but not required.

Primary Duties
Develop and deliver customized training for Corporate Solutions based on leads identified for the Corporate Solutions sales team as well as self-identified opportunities with existing clients and through personal networks. Scope learning outcomes, develop lesson plan, deliver training, and assess achievement of learning outcomes.
Instruct two classes per semester for the Center for Integrated Manufacturing (CIM). Collaborate with CIM faculty to implement curricula, facilitate student evaluations, adjust instructional approach where needed.
Manage on-site training schedules, and collaborate with sales team on client debrief and identification of future training opportunities.
Promote apprenticeship opportunities to manufacturing employers and collaborate with apprenticeship team as well as CIM faculty on the development and launch of apprenticeship programs.
Cultivate and maintain active industry relationships to stay current on industry workforce needs, foster new client relationships, engage partners in college advisory boards and related activities. Participate in manufacturing industry and related workforce events to help promote the college’s corporate training, credit programs and other workforce programming.
