NATIONAL ROBOTICS LEAGUE (NRL) EVENT

We hosted our inaugural NRL “battlebot” competition on April 13, 2019. The competition was held on the campus of Community College of Denver (CCD). We had participation from four metro area schools. We involved 35 students, 4 mentor teachers, 25 volunteers,  21 sponsors, a local boy scout troop, and a visit from the interim NTMA president.

This was a successful START to the NRL Colorado program. What a great way to introduce students (future workforce) to the skills and disciplines needed in manufacturing (communication, team building, documentation, technical skills).  We had 4 participating schools this year and hope to double the number of teams for our 2020 event.
